My Thoughts

Should be able to take down the whole patrol with TD and a flicker (maybe another TD?), this should fairly well lock it up for me

With this awesome turn I’d like to put some focus on the current discussion on how we should nerf present tech 2 a bit. In the current meta this is just over the top how insanely cheap you get so much value without even needing the big combo cards.

nerf the stats would’ve been reasonable here, second hyperion could not have survived focus master, skipping straight to tricycloid and then maxbanding max could have destroyed tech 2 but you’d a) have a smaller tricycloid left over than currently cos the tric stats would be nerfed too and b) have used up the maxband too, using up more of the ‘burst’ potential and leaving the focus master alive

They did have 11g, max available, a tech 2 and a spell that would have been useless without the tech 2 :person_shrugging:

I give up here. I can’t counter present with Tenderfoot, Timely Messenger and Reversal, no chance. Congrats @FrozenStorm!

GG WP @Steve44 ! Yeah present is strong in general and especially in this ruleset that nerfs other stuff, though it was really fortunate I drew the second TD there. Grave with that bloom is also quite the bully though, it was dicey through that early game. Mox and Tower definitely helped.

Discipline was a risky take IMO, better to go for finesse to keep my tech 2 down. Focus master almost mattered but he is just kinda weak in general. Think Vigor Adept and dragons would have done better

Idk what if any nerfs make sense for present, there’s already a lot of failure modes for it, I’ve stayed out of the conversation because I’m still thunking on it

@zango hopefully our accelerated pace caught us up
