I teched these in the hope that I’d draw at least either one, to draw both and have the scav gold feels like a lucky gain still could have gotten the hero kill with a couple of other cards but my board wouldn’t be in as good a place afterwards. with battlesuits and max out and low on cards tech 2 present is probably the best option

FF on fencer feels silly but quince needs to die if I want hyperions around… shame I couldn’t get the Chronofixer down (Temporal Distortion would have done better, and what I didn’t consider was that with my most likely card being a hyperion I would be aggresive and less able to defend chronofixer)

online calc says 46% hyperion on draw 2, 64% with Vir’s peek… First two no hype, vir peek means no prynn reset, what am I doing here that doesn’t mean I hire Vir anyway… there’s a not bad path with maxbanding prynn that nearly wipes their board, other option is kill macciautus and fencer and get a tower out but maxband river, altho with low chance of more haste and I have no targeting cards next turn not much point in being able to detect for now… so yeah, hiring Vir, so let’s see what I peek… lol there’s the hyperion, Id draw whatever I Swap, but it would guarantee a pretty sweet hand next turn, and still get rid of the important parts of their board. Shame I didn’t use chronofixer but this is way safer

Nimble Fencer was the single best card I could draw there so pretty lucky, although I think my turn would have been ok with other draws too. Hyperion seems scary to play against blue. Eyes of the chancellor putting in work.

looked at this for ages having mentally discounted the peeked PoP as useless before realising it lets me do everything possible in this turn, even after committing to assimilate, 1g is a good price for that
maximum defence: 3/5, 1/1, 2/3, 5hp on T2 (4HP after brick thief arrives)

Frustratingly, the turn i left that hyperion out i had a pretty good alternative had i not peeked it at the top of my deck! But, you capitalised very well, WP
