Aven sure is a pickle. Considered doing Jaina, pillage, then midbanding her next turn to ping it (edit: cant do that cause it probably won’t be patrolling), but that leaves her pretty open to a nimble fencer and whatever else he plays next turn.

The easy kill on Inspector would leave Oni vulnerable. We’ll see what Penatronic chooses to do.
I’m teching Fencers for the Finesse plan, even though they match up badly against GPT, which Penatronic is likely to want against Aven. MTruth or Arrest could be useful then, so Bigby comes off the bench.

A turn 3 whiff, that’s always rough. Some potential for hasty damage though, so I can’t be sure Newsman will survive. I’ll stick him in elite so he can get rid of soldiers or set Oni up to die. Bigby goes in back in case I want to stash something next turn (and he survives).
good catch, I must have copied instead of cut when I moved madman around, I had two of them in the deck. I’m gonna leave it as minus the extra madman, because a reshuffle would likely be in my favor.
that wiff is definitely painful, either card would have been able to help get rid of the aven, and now if I attack with Oni I certainly lose him to the Aven.

Penatronic still hasn’t teched, so dropping Inspector and teching Injunction sound pretty good. Happy to block with heroes since I can’t give up free levels.
