Thoughts

Expensive, but I have a way to kill Aven next turn if needed. I actually think I want to try a gutsy play of going for broke with Rich Earth. My other good option is Argagarg, or I could hmmm actually Panda is a really good opener here. Bummer that there’s just not much I can do with the rest of that gold right now, but having 5 gold available lets me Shambler and ping an Aven and still Tech 1. Or pay for Resist. Going to have to come down hard on Blue, I think Injunction is my biggest threat here, disabling a large swathe of my units so I can’t bring the hammer down on them. Blooming Ancient is probably my best option because it helps me field a diverse swathe of Tech 0 and 1 units alongside Tech 2 stuff.

So the million dollar question is, how bad is Aven really? If I go Arg, RG on panda to kill Quince and midband, Arg becomes an illusion killing monster. 50/50 on MT. My other answers cost 5 gold. So, would I rather develop Arg and wisps and tech 1? Yeah we can go Panda Power with these wisps. patrol strategy: prefer to keep Wisps alive because MT can’t copy buff spells

The end of turn discard looks weird because I forgot to move Rampant Growth to discard before hitting draw/discard, I don’t believe that changes anything since it hits discard anyway, but I can redo it in 6ish hours when I get home if the refs need.

Thoughts

Spirit of the Panda is 4, I go down to 2 and then back up to 3, worker down to 2, Arg pops the Illusion after spirited Panda kills Squad Leader. At this point, Spirit is just going to snowball I think. I really like having these wisps to protect my backline, honestly… Anyhow, I can either play Young Treant or Tech 1 at this point, and I think I just hang on to Tech 1 right now?? Really really risking hitting a Free Speech though, so I think it’s better to throw down Tech 1 and get ready for beefier units.
