I preteched them ages ago. I tried a similar strategy last time I faced gunships, but it wasn’t quite as effective as it was this time.
Well it only helps, if you also break tech 3 at the right times
But then it’s awesome!
So much for my decision to let max live and break tech 2 instead.

@Bryce_The_Rice One thing I didn’t get is patrolling Hive in sql. Was that to protect the Tric?
I suddenly realised that if I didn’t patrol the hive, he had lethal. All he had to do was kill tricycloid with gunship, then kill seer with anything, then he could hit my base with steam tank+mad man+drakk boost+whatever haste from hand.
