Thoughts
Difficult decision whether to tech a fern as well for a tiny basilisk stealthy hero kill. But as it might come down to having an early predator tiger in play, I think two basilisks are the better choice.

Wow, that merfolk technician is really clever! I could kill with Midori, but Calamandra could use the extra card to get stealth!

don’t ask me why but that one was tough for me. Do I want to keep Cala as safe as possible? Do I want to reduce his board state? Do I want to safe up the possible healing of maxbanding Cala for later? Do I want to play young treant with a 50% chance of actually making a difference with that draw and maybe whiffing as well but speeding up the next cycle? How do my next turns look like, when going this route? Decided for the - in my eyes - most aggro variant and let’s see how he deals with the basilisk, maybe he’ll just trade Midori as I can’t profit from the levels…

Tiny Basilisk! That was supposed to be my plan. Build a tower, it can’t get a free kill and Calamandra can’t stealth. I can’t protect Midori from the basilisk but at least the levels would fizzle. Another Giant Panda and Galina could work together if this tower holds well.

attacking with Cala gets her and a Giga killed, if he has three out of the four rampant growth, forest favor spirit of the panda, polymorph:quirrel (which would in two combinations even leave enough money for a second basilisk), which I willfully ignore in my considerations as he only has four cards in hand, has to have teched accordingly and/or drawn that rampant growth again after rs draw 1.
But it is way more likely he is able to walk through with the basilisk. It’s gonna be interesting what he will choose to take out with it.
