I almost floated 3 but I think it’s better to have a hero out now so it can attack next turn. Going River because I think I can be more effective early with River. Graveyard and thieving imp might make it possible to leverage Rivers maxband ability to drop his card count. Only have the money for that though if I hold off on tech 1. Could tech double discord and hope it is enough to wipe his board.

I expect a battle suits. Peace and purple almost guarantees. So mox probably would kill thieving imp solo if I put him in technician. 5 to midband for haste on zane and that only gives him 1 for elsewhere. He doesn’t have enough to bounce then kill River. I think River is good and safe

Gotta remember he still has Zane and potentially battle suits to buff mox. Plus that nullcraft possibility. To return a unit to my hand would cost him 4, which would allow him to still grab zane, meaning he could drop river by sacrificing zane. Other than that not sure I can see him affording a bigger play, and he knows if imp goes down it will come back cause of graveyard. Going to tech gargoyle and twilight baron because I need tech 1 units and either flying or overpower will help me stay relevant with mox in my face.

Yeah the “multicolour penalty” of not having to spend an extra gold on your first tech building or add-on doesn’t apply, but heroes casting spells not of their colour is always in effect. Neutral starter doesn’t have that penalty, because it has no colour.
