Wahhh really? Even with only two cards in my hand?

Maybe too gloomy. But seems I’d need to get rid of Drakk to stop the turkey shoot, which gives you a card back from technician, puts me down a card, and leaves me with nothing on the board and you a turn in hand. So essentially a whole turn down – which takes some doing after only 3 turns!

The Rook blow-out was particularly bad having sunk an extra $1 into him to play around Pillage on T1 (probably not a grwat idea, but I’d no easy 1-drop). Add in the P1 vs P2 econ disadvantage, my $1 multicolour penalty, and the $1 Taxman steal…

I’ve had a couple bad starts in the tournament, both times as P1 multicolour vs P2 monocolour. Feels a difficult balance avoiding getting far behind on economy, maintaining some P1 initiative without getting into bad trades.

Both cards in my hand were tech zero. There’s not much I can do. I was going to spend the turn building tech two and trying to get back up on cards.

You’re right, did have some chance to salvage and my mistake for not having given it a go. Mid-tournament judgement fatigue !
