GL HF! I was hoping @Sirlin would address the unresolved question about whether Free Speech is capable of preventing spells from being cast on Lost Temple before a game got started, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, so I think we should decide on how we’re going to interpret the rules before we proceed. Do you have a preference?

Personally I view it in the same way as Guargum, Eternal Sentinel, that as I am not using a hero, it does not affect my spell casting. It still stops my hero’s having abilities (which is very annoying) but much like Injunction it is less powerful on this map
EDIT: which rereading the thread this was also Sharpo answer. As his word on rulings is law (unless Sirlin gets involved at least), are you happy to accept that ruling for now?

I would have suggested defaulting to sharpo’s interpretation for that reason if you didn’t have an opinion, so I have no objection. Let’s get this show on the road!

Thoughts

The Rogue would be too vulnerable to Nullcraft, Jandra would be too vulnerable to Forgotten Fighter, Graveyard is dangerous vs an unstoppable Assimilate and conflicts with Reteller/Remember, and Skeletal Archery should be saved for an emergency. I considered playing a hero or two, but I don’t want to feed levels before teching Doom Grasp, so I’ll get by with Summon Skeletons for now.

Thoughts

Vir is now a potential Omegacron sacrifice, so I’d like to kill him. On the other hand, that would leave me with only 1 patroller, and I need to block that Omegacron. I don’t think this game is going to last very long, one way or the other, and it’s hard to say what I should tech. I think Seers may actually be my best bet, just to stall the Omegacrons a bit and act as cannon fodder.
