Nope, stall for Gunships. Itā€™s a shame I didnā€™t get to keep my Boot Camp, I would have nearly been able to smash both buildings while teching up, gotten resources for the return Basilisk kill with Oni readiness patrolling. I think itā€™s still likely Iā€™ll be able to re-break tech 2 as well as tech 1 with a Zane play next turn, then tech 3 at my leisure

I can lose Oni to a Zane play by doing this but I should be able to pivot that to a tech 2 / 3 play, Stewardess and Cadet make for great tempo relievers and I can do both + tech 2 if I draw them. I donā€™t think Jandra is a good opening here, too easy for me to exploit. By not having Suits, if he attacks and leaves it on 1hp he canā€™t make any other units, b/c nullcraft can counter. And if he opts for something super defensive, leveling Oni is always an option too

Itā€™s also important to note here that patrolling in Technician is not only beneficial for me, but detrimental for him: making a big Zane play is gold-limiting, not card limiting. Giving him cards while he makes a Zane play doesnā€™t help him much as 5 gold for Zane midband means heā€™s only got 2 left to play an extra card. Were I to go Scavenger, heā€™d have enough to play a 2-cost from hand while wiping me.

Broken Garrison but ainā€™t no thing, Zane still brings the heat to get done what needs doing. Workering Stewardess as I need to keep Research in the deck in case of Garrison whiff. Could bring out Prynn (sheā€™d be safe) but no need if I draw a Garrison, and donā€™t think Iā€™ll need her to attack.
