Thoughts
Well, Manufactured Truth is convenient for getting rid of the Ogre, although I trade at -1 card, and effectively at -1 gold too due to losing Building Inspector’s ability in the trade. The alternative is to arrest the Ogre, which roughly comes out even, since the Ogre will return to zhavier’s hand. I’ll go with that.
Heading straight for Lobbers. If I’m really lucky, I can kill Rook before the Bird’s Nest comes out, but probably not. I should have a decent chance to draw Reputable Newsman if I don’t draw my Lobbers, though. Otherwise, I don’t have good ways to deal with them outside of Jaina / Fire II.

Double Lobber gives me the option of killing Rook here, but I’m left with only 4-health Bigby on the board, maybe Traffic Director in front. Either Zane comes out and helps wipe me, or zhavier can comfortably tech up while my Lobbers are accounted for.
I think I’m better off just killing Bombaster, or maybe even just wounding it with Bigby, and blocking with the Lobbers and with the Building Inspector. I’m in more trouble if zhavier has Bird’s Nest in hand, but I won’t see Zane, Bigby should live, and Building Inspector will get great value if he sticks. If he does have Nest, I’ve got Aven in hand next turn as a possible option to help deal with them.
What’s the worst attack that could be coming? Mad Man + current board to kill my Lobbers, 5 gold left then allows Dog or a 2-cost unit with Charge, where the latter can kill Bigby if Inspector isn’t in the way. I need Inspector in patrol here just in case. zhavier can kill it and tech up, but if Bigby wounds Bombaster then he can’t do it efficiently. I think I hold onto Newsman, so I’ve got something decent to put down in patrol while I tech up. In that case, I can put someone in Technician without risking a reshuffle.
Going for Insurance Agents first to keep my board healthy, then I’ll gun for MoLaC. I want to keep patrollers out of Technician here, so I can tech it in before the reshuffle.
Annoying to worker Jail here, it would have been nice to slow Anarchy / Growth down. I want to hang onto Arrest in case zhavier goes for Gunships, though, to get Steam Tanks out of the way.
The molac play with only lobbers to back it up seemed pretty ambitious. I suspect the passive play with the newsman, even after seeing no spells in hand, was probably the wrong direction, and then as you say, forgetting about zane, sealed your fate.
