Rook + Savior Monk might be the worst (for me) start I could find myself facing. Use of Origin Story in a previous game was unspectacular, but it seems like the best way to go. I’ll Tech 2 Argonauts this turn to try and keep up some board presence against the strong White units and get O.S. teched next turn.
ninjitsu it is. saving fox primus just in case. teching up, patroling for rewards, all that good stuff. i cant attack him effectively right now, so regroup and flank.

Thoughts
Wasn’t expecting Ninjitsu. It’s got a little bit of everything; flying, deathtouch, haste, unstoppable, and invisible as well. I think Future might be the best way to counter Ninjitsu’s strengths. I’ve got my choice of Argonaut or Sentry to bring out this turn. I think I’ll go with the anti-air to be on the safe side.
nex turn ill tech lab if i need to. use the purcupine to block on the ground, birds in the air. rushing tech 3, and teching one of each in case i draw one, but also can use both since they’re legendary. then tech mythmaking after that for the base rush.
Shoring up my board with another Argo is an easy call. I could stick with that and float $5, or I could bring out the Neo Plexus for even more ground support. I think saving $5 seems like the better option. Or I could bring out Prynn and get Rook of the board with Origin Story. That’s not a good trade though, with Rook at 1st level.
okay, so got the tech 3’s queued up and ready to go. hopefully i don’t wiff the draw. purcupines coming in teh clutch, getting me 6 gold of value.
leaving flagbearer and bird off the patrol just in case of forgotten fighter. i think worst case scenario is undo, now, or max prynn. with future tech 2, his immediate board presence is limited. i guess he could omegacron, but that would be a big trade off worker-wise.
gunna rune rook just to clear that sentry, limit his board swing for next turn.

Pretty sure this would just be a matter of timing, since the Sentry is anti-air must Rook kill him before the bird can kill the wounded Argo? It’s easy to just have Rook go before the bird, I’m just checking for future ref.

the bird doesnt fly over sentry to kill the wounded argo, so no issue there.
for NOW, you would have to target my flagbearer. every card you play that is able to target him has to target him first, then, if that same card has a second target or ability, it can target someone else.
