I would say already here the ground was laid.
Safe attacking was killmore if you succeed in going into the offense and ended up just eating gold for no value and it reduced your handsize.
Also I just realized you mistakenly paid 2 instead of 1 gold for it…
The next turn you took a worker skip which costed you over the next 5 turns a total of 4 gold, which is A LOT. And I think without safe attacking it’s safe to assume you would have taken that worker.
T5 was tactical mistake, yes. But the bigger strategic one startet before as zango mentioned. With boulder and threatening the pass you chose a defensive way. (Although you did not play the pass, which was ok. Me thinking you have it was enough that i did not utilize my 2 bugblatter and Desperation). But with the defense strat you must utilize the one worker more and be e.g. at tech 3 before me. You tried a bit of both. With your worker skips i could arrange a nice cycle with 4tech 3 units. So i really recommend not to skip a worker, only if it enables you to finish the game in the next 2 rounds.
If you want an aggressive white play like you startet try ninjutsu and glorious ninjas.
