I don’t know. The double Colossus turn alone was worth it for sure, but otherwise it’s just been a slow surplus, which is not really worth the tech slot.
We are, I’ve just been busy the last few days, sorry.

Rampant Growth on Merfolk Prospector to kill Saviour Monk lets Midori go in Squad Leader, and make it hard for Dreamfire to go for early maxband Rook. Anything else is asking for midband Rook bypassing the patrol, or a Grappling Hook.

Thoughts
Potent Basilisk can knock out Bird’s Nest when it arrives, so maybe not going for Tiny Basilisks is OK here. Taking a Fairie Dragon before second Free Speech, to give me more attack options.
With the threat of Stewardess of the Undone, I think I’m better off making a second Mirror than I am playing both Lobbers. Lobber/Prospector is then a fourth blocker. Stewardess + attacking units lets Rook walk past a fourth patroller to kill Quince. Maybe I do need those Lobbers.

@charnel_mouse’s turn!
Just about enough.

Starting hand: 3
Free Speech
Rampant Growth
Fairie Dragon
Thoughts
Free Speech leaves Rook on only 6 health once, but I need Rampant Growth to kill him without losing Quince. That leaves 4 gold for either maxband Quince or Fairie Dragon. The Dragon sets me up more nicely by killing the Saviour Monk, and I can have Quince chip Dreamfire’s Tech II for the Dragon to destroy it next turn, unless we see a Shimmer Ray. Hopefully I draw Young Treant next turn.
What am I worried about in Past II? Remembers, obviously. So maybe Dreamscape is the way to go, to stop things removing its time runes. The other problem is probably Shimmer Rays. For now I’ll just take a Mimic and the other Free Speech: I’ve got another turn to tech in what I need, and I’ll desparately need Free Speech to try to keep Quince alive in the face of Snapback.
