So, I don’t know why but I forgot I swapped Orpal with river for this match. I guess I was thinking I was playing Monoblack. How should we proceed, put river in play?
If that’s the only change you want to make to your turn then sure, then I might redo mine. If not having Orpal effects your previous turn you can replay the whole thing.
I’ll just put river out in elite.

It can’t be River, because you would have had to pay extra for the Deteriorate.

I’m pretty sure they do. My understanding is that Neutral spells don’t cost extra for any hero to play, but Neutral heroes do pay extra to play colored spells.
it would appear you are correct, I wonder if I have done that wrong before… Well in that case my only choice would have been Vandy, so I guess Vandy is in elite. You can change your turn if necessary.
From the rulebook
"That means any red hero can cast them (Red Magic). If you only have a non-red hero in play, you can STILL cast a minor spell, but you have to pay 1 extra gold."
