Let’s see if my technician drew me the T2 unit I teched last turn… otherwise this is gonna be a short game.

Yeah, it felt like that might be the situation. Don’t leave me in suspense for too long!

Nope, it was Rambasa Twin. I resign. Good game!


I made a lot of mistakes early. starting with thinking Setsuki had any kind of early-game board presence & doubling down with an early Speed of the Fox. Then it hit me that she needed 3 extra gold to be able to be able to take out a single skeleton squad leader, and if I spent that extra gold on levels instead of a blocker there was no chance she would survive till my next turn.

I find it really hard to resist playing Rook early because he’s so big. Maybe teching in Ardra’s boulder as a cheaper wall would have let you attack with Sets? After your second turn, I committed to going low cards to keep you off the board. I think you needed to play a dude with (or instead of) safe attacking. A tower would have shut down my skeleton squads attacks. That last hand was really rough, though. I was worried about a Glorious Ninja patrol shutting off all of my attacks after my last turn, but I drew the Doom Grasp (and had a lot of skeletons in play to try to draw it if I didn’t).

Sure, I’m game. I’ll stick with monowhite & try to redeem myself, rolled 35/100.
