Just scanning through, on T6, it looks like you gave Grave 2 levels for ā€œkillingā€ Rook (healing him and giving him a crumbling rune). Iā€™m pretty sure you only get the hero levels when Rook dies for real.

As for the advice, Iā€™m awful at Codex and itā€™s severely unlikely that Iā€™ll ever be better than the ā€œbarely rules legalā€ Iā€™m at now. I just enjoy playing. However, I did consider what you wrote, I just decided against it. OOPS. :wink:

Hah! Youā€™re so right. I totally forgot that Grave was on your side, not flagrantanglesā€™ side, seeing as how he is mono-blue.

Well if I could offer some advice (I also think Iā€™m quite the beginner at this game!) - I think you have to slow down on building Tech II. You often build it ā€œon timeā€ (when you first get 8 workers), but if Iā€™m building an army and youā€™re building Tech II, then it will take some fancy spells for you to stop my army in the future. An early Tower is often better than a Tech II building against an aggressive opponent. You can definitely win games just on tech I, though of course whoever can land more Tech IIā€™s tends to pull ahead in the mid-game.

Mono-Blue is also a tough one because I think a lot of the cards get better the more familiar you are with your opponents cards and playstyle. Particularly against Mono-White, there arenā€™t a lot of great answers to heroes (Purple, Black, and White all have direct answers, while Red has haste/burn and Green has pump spells). Blue has great spells on its heroes and Iā€™ve been very nervous about a Judgement Day from Bigby as well as Free Speech from Quince. Jail also really puts up a roadblock for White (particularly good when you have a tower!). Blue does have one of the weakest starter decks though, and your units are often not as good as other colors.

Also sometimes I take a big risk by going down on cards or skipping a worker to get an advantage on board. These plays are tough because they feel like Iā€™m getting way ahead, but Iā€™m putting a timer on the game and my ability to win it. I often try to win early because I donā€™t like my odds of winning late!

I believe the Fox Primus with Anti-Air would kill the Manufactured Aven as he flew over the Patrol Zone, so he should be in your discard.
