I feel like taking the Panda down is more valuable than taking down Argagarg atm. Onimaru should be able to hold the front line, provided he doesn’t get hit with both Green starter spells, and that would both be expensive enough that I wouldn’t mind losing Onimaru, and it would mean the Aven doesn’t get targeted, also good. If the Aven does get targeted, the resist cost and the Inspector’s fee should make gold management very difficult. Teching in Flagbearers to protect the Aven and generally interfere with Green/Growth buffs.
The Spore Shambler can’t target a Wisp while the Spectral Flagbearer is an available target. (However, using the Shambler’s ability to target the Flagbearer would kill the Flagbearer, allowing the second rune to be put on a Wisp.)
Looks like you might have made a mistake entering your building HP. Tech I should be at 5, and Tech Lab should be at 4.

Looks like he’s aiming for a two-spec build, but which…? Chances are good that Virtuosas are a part of it, and I’ll want to shut that down ASAP. Nimble Fencers are probably enough reason to aim for that Tech I building… except that to do so would require me to significantly curtail my deployment. Better to just let the Fencers come and replay the Illusions afterward. But, I can kill Argagarg and prevent his current units from attacking, meaning, at most I’ll be facing 2 hasty attackers next turn, which is ideal. Seems worth the expense.
Playing against Blue starter is also a rather unique experience, and takes some getting used to. In particular, I think you should have used the Spore Shambler’s second rune to kill the Spectral Aven rather than buffing a Wisp. If you’re not interested in continuing this game, we can move on.

Okay, on the defensive, my biggest worry is Green’s starter spells, so I’ll use the Newsman to shut them down. With that decided, do I want to go with Onimaru or Bigby? It’s a tough call, but I think Bigby’s lower level cost and utility could be more helpful, considering I want to play a lot of cards.
