I think I need to rush Garrisons out faster to be able to more quickly react. If he goes Growth again, I’ll try to counter with Vortoss Emblem, which means I’ll want to keep some time manipulation on hand.

Yeah, I teched the Elm early in the hopes I could get a surprise overpower kill with Vandy, but you killed her off straight away. I knew it was a risky teching choice, and it only paid off thanks to the fact I drew the Ancient first.

Thoughts

Putting Prynn in front was sneaky, trying to force me to buff one of his guys. I might be able to bypass it, though, by Shadow Blading the Cadet and spending the rest of my gold, so I won’t be able to target Mox. But let’s draw some cards first. I’ll tech Discord in anticipation of the Peace engine, and Meta since I’m getting a turn of maxband Vandy, free of Origin Story.

Drew both my virtuosos! That means I can spend all my gold, get a tech break, and even keep Panda for patrol.

I guess 3 patrollers isn’t enough…
