Thoughts

Best counter to discard is card draw, and Setsuki can provide. There’s not really a tech I card I’m super interested in right now, but Shuriken Hail could help Setsuki claim some levels… if it’s not played around. In which case, it may be a good idea to builde my Tech I now as a feint.

Summon Skeletons is looking better than Jandra to play here, but Neko teched in Shuriken Hail in an earlier game, so I not as sure of it as I would be otherwise. Maybe I use Sacrifice the Weak to leave Setsuki on her own? Then I might as well throw the Javelineer at her first, and Imp could put her to 1 health without dying itself, so Neko’s caught between putting units down and healing up Sets.

Nekoatl’s being pretty careful to play around Shadow Blade here. Unfortunately, I wasn’t doing the same for Shuriken Hail. Teching Abomination and Gorgon to threaten a counter to heroes + Ninjas, hopefully by also playing my own heroes and attackers that can hit Setsuki I’ll present enough targets that he can’t hit all of them.
