Black is also a good counter I find, with sac the weak, deteriorate and Vandy the early game can be hard to defend well. - 1-1 runes from Disease deal with mox/immortals well (though tbh immortals aren’t what you should be worried about, the flickered hyperion /tricyleoids are far worse). Skeletons are good blockers, and purple can’t run black out of cards thanks to garth /dark pact, while black can really hurt purple if purple goes down on cards. Almost a catch 22 really unless you play really well as purple.
what’s that?
A catch 22 is where you can’t escape from a situation because of contradictory rules. A common example being “How am I supposed to gain experience [to find a good job] if I’m constantly turned down for not having any?”. It was coined by an author in a book called catch 22, hence the name.
Here I’m saying that purple needs to go down on cards to get an advantage in the early game, which black can remove because purple went down on cards.
Do you want to switch P1 and P2 or stay the same?
Hang on, I think I might be on to something. Gimme a day or so to think it through?
Sure thing
[Discipline]/Disease/Truth, GL HF!

Thoughts
Against Purple, I want to worker my $2+ tech 0 units except for my only source of Healing (Monk). Playing Grave to keep my options open and Smoker just to get my hand size down to 3… maybe it’ll come in handy at some point? I’ll patrol the Smoker as SQL so the armor will protect him from Nullcraft.

Thoughts
I had planned my initial techs to be Plague Spitter to deal with Nullcraft and Mox and Versatile Style to deal with Battle Suits, but seeing that Plasmodium float makes me think I need +1/+1 runes to beef up my defense.

Thoughts
Putting the Spitter on the front line will punish anything that attacks, but if a Time Spiral or Seer brings in the Plasmodium, it can clear the way for Nullcraft and Mox to attack without penalty. If Battle Suits also lands, they could do some major damage, regardless of how I patrol. Now! could evelate that to a full board clear. So, I’ll build a Tower to ensure the Nullcraft dies if it attacks and offer up the Sensei as cannon fodder. A Suits-empowered Mox can clear it for free, but by not allowing the Plasmodium to make full use of its 4 attack, I should be able to keep something alive. It’s hard to know what to tech without being able to predict what will survive, so I’ll diversify my options and hope for favorable draws all around.

Well, that was a well timed Free speach, he would have no board or tech buildings without it…
I think Geiger should have 1 damage from my Tower, though I expect it to be removed next turn.
