I can’t get at his hero’s for two more turns. I’ll have to deal with whatever spells he teched last turn. Tower should help flesh out his attacking units. I’m probably going Balance to keep options open, but Barkcoat Bear’s resist 2 is sooooo tempting.

Well, at least he had to trade Jav, Haunt, and 3 gold to Orpal to get my tech 1. Putting out Strong Board now, should be good to survive anything he throws out. he can only attack with maybe Lobbers, and Orpal, He could wipe out my board with Lobber, Lobber, SWT, Det, but that would be a huge drain on his hand. I expect SOMETHING will survive. Protecting Garth for the ND. Tech 2 Next turn, Max Garth turn after.

I’m overall happy with my random team. I’ve never dug into Disease or Feral. They don’t match well, but Fire matches everything.

It occurs to me it doesn’t matter if I could bring down Tech 3 or not with Verdant Tree out. All I can hope for is you to not have the Rex.

Yeah. VT was my backup to keep options open. Things would definitely delay if I didn’t have Rex, but Imp discarded Spore Shambler instead. I wasn’t able to finish it off this turn, so I played it pretty conservative.

I’ve never done a random team, but I think that would be really fun. I would be down to run it back after this one, and both randomize it. Let me know.

Also, I’ve been playing Feral more lately, and it’s so good. Cal’s spells are well balanced, and her stealth makes her a constant threat late game. Disease is one that I need to learn more about.

btw, how do you generate a random team?

I will see if I can do anything to win this later this evening, As for randomizing, go to the Codex Card Database (the one you can link to from the spreadsheet). From the mainpage scroll down and you will see the option to build a random team.
When I’m in a game I always have 2 windows open with each of our teams set up (again at the bottom of the main page you can set up a team). That way I can quickly check cards and options without having to go away from the spreadsheet. It’s invaluable as I play 95% on my iPad.

I will GG here. I might have survived a bit longer with a Tech 2 building, but it would have only bought me a turn or so.

I will certainly run it back with you. Let me know what your random team is and if you want to go first this time. Mine came out [Bashing]/Strength/Past. We should start a new thread and label it random select. Who knows, maybe we’ll start a trend.
