Let’s see if I can draw argonaut and now. Should allow me to do damage and defend. That should help me buy time for the theorized roller-coaster of adaptable TDs
Take a turn tomorrow morning. I do want to play it out, it’s a great learning experience. The more I lose the better I am getting I feel, although I don’t like it in the moment haha
I unfortunately can’t seem to back up my spreadsheet to before my turn change, and that kinda could have made a huge difference. Damn, I think this game may actually need to be a mulligan haha. Mind if I reconsider my starting deck choice and take a first turn this weekend? I have an extremely stressful day ahead of me tomorrow and would like to postpone this a day if that’s okay
For future reference, I am usually able to cmd+z (ctrl+z or “undo”) to back my sheet up (it takes maybe 5-10 presses to step back through all the little edits the script does when you discard/draw), although I only really use the draw/deck/discard columns of the sheet so I’m not an authority on the matter. @zhavier is the go to guy on spreadsheet details since he built it
Yea, most people get thrown by the spreadsheet when trying to undo one of the buttons. You have to press it a bunch to get it to take. Also of note, I have noticed that the undo function on my mobile device version of google spreadsheets does not actually undo everything it should, and generally just makes things worse. But it is always possible to recreate the beginning conditions of your turn by just moving everything into its appropriate position. That can be a bit of work though, as there are a lot of fiddly bits that have to be fixed, like turn number, starting gold, discard, workers, etc.
In that case, yea, undo wont work, gotta just manually move stuff around, or type in what should be where. Its a real pain. Just make sure you dont actually use the undo function unless its for something you typed. Using it after pressing a button breaks things.

Hmmm. Really poor trade on his part there. 6 gold and 2 cards to take out 4g and 1 card… Gives me a huge opening. He won’t even be on tech 1 next turn…
This feels like a time to go Anarchy Tech 3. Grabbing Stewardess (guaranteed bounce next turn if I draw it) and a Cadet, planning to fast tech + stewardess (if I get it) next turn

Another weird move… Pillage and midband Geiger in leiu of a tech 1?? The pillage and lack of unit does make Stewardess a sub-optimal choice, but Battle Suits + Tech up certainly isn’t a bad option… Would I be better off waiting on the tech 2 and putting a hero down for a little more pressure? Yeah, I have no use for the tech 2 next turn so might as well.
