Nope is it gonna be a try for an Oni rush on AoW? I have Origin Story though? I spose I will just delay the tech building, stall on the ground, and play for econ. If levels start going to Oni it’ll be an OS tech next turn, if Joon trades Oni into SQL the board pressure is relieved and I’ll win easily getting to tech2 first.

My Thoughts
Okay perhaps bansa’s onto some crazy stuff here. I still can get to tech2 first but it is a challenge and a risk a little bit. There’s a well developed board there, Aven is still a legitimate ugly threat and Cala mid can make the tax to pop it higher with Stewardess. Forgotten Fighter may have been good not to worker after all…
I’m going to tech an Origin story for two reasons:
It’s a little unexpected. I don’t think bansa will anticipate I have it in my next cycle. I usually play by the book and they’ll expect I teched Garrison.
I can threaten the tech2 and force bansa to respect it (it’s too powerful not to respect), and OS the perfect card to counter that force (no doubt leveling Cala will be the play to make to try and team up with Aven on a building kill)
Bansa might go for that next turn but I can’t really prevent that anyway, I can only play the resource advantage moving forward.

Daring bansa to break a tech building here, keeping my techs diverse enough that any one loss (t1, t2, a hero) doesn’t sink me, just need to judo this into my econ advantage. I have a good hand next turn, losing tech1 would hurt but I get to lift up any hero threat and that’s a plus.

Didn’t go for it, dang guess I would have been better off going for the Garrison after all. Ohhhh welll, Bansa did plan ahead w/ the tiger. I’ll lose prynn here to OS cala away, but I still think it’s worth it to get the resist 1 away to pop Aven also. Aven’s just a serious PITA
