Okay… I have no clue what I’m doing. A gameplan with Present units supported by Vir and Prynn seems the most straightforward. I’m not sure yet if assimilating Rich Earth is worth the investment, but it feels like an annoying thing to do to somebody.

Opting to trade was a good move on his part, I didn’t get tiny b for counter pressure but huntress should force a good trade here. Looks like growth will be the play, either stampede or molac [/details]

The Elite patrol was actually very well planned on his side as it lines up very nicely with Vir’s midband. I drop the assimilate plan and simply trade the heros - this seems like more board control to me than leaving everything alive.

I’m a bit worried because sitting back and building up usually favors green. That being said, trading Fargo and Neo Plexus for the Huntress just seems astonishingly bad. I don’t need a hero right now, so the tower seems like a good investment.
Ah, right didn’t catch that. It seems there is no way around it and I have to actually deal with that board.
And, silly of me to forget Huntress has Anti-Air and I really shouldn’t have attacked in that case - I have re-randomised my draw last turn to account for the additional Nullcraft in the discard pile.

Losing the Nullcraft because I didn’t realize Huntress is Anti-Air war really stupid… It would have made the trades much better this turn. The draw from Temporal Research also whiffed in the sense that I got neither Battle Suits for better trades nor Origin Story for preventing Stampede. I’m quite sure I already lost this game very convincingly.
I’m not totally sure where things went wrong for you, to be honest. I think Stewardess probably would have been more useful than Argonaut, and Geiger is a better early combat hero. The nullcraft should have been picking off wisps as much as possible, and perhaps turn 3 would have been better served teching up? You probably do better as P2 racing me to tech 2, where you can do Tricycloids + Hyperion shenanigans or Void Star + Now!
Thanks for the feedback. I somehow never found the time to tech up as I was too afraid to leave too many of your units alive. Maybe I have to reconsider that.

Kind of want to experiment with how pressed he gets for Origin Story if I push Midori. I have a nice split of Tiger Cub now, Playful Panda next turn, makes for potentially fun Midori buffing [/details]

A Midori opener! I like it! It is quite problematic for me in this situation though, as it threatens Midori midband without losing on board. Fading Argonaut would come in very handy here, but that guy is chilling in the discard pile. I see no way I can possibly protect a hero this turn so Hardened Mox it is! Stewardess should work well if he goes for more tokens to synergize with Midori midband, but I’m not sure what my plan against an early Circle of Life is.
