My Thoughts

Hmmm, no LB? Did he whiff or go with something else? Possible there was a fast-tech barrows? I don’t think that’s likely though. Still, I think I’ll plan to “stand back and stand by” here (ugh), tech up and get some more intel. Probably will either Soul Stone or Boulder (if I draw either), otherwise I spose I will kill Arg with Gargoyle and float 1… Doom a wisp and Imp. Maybe not tech up if I draw like Jandra I guess, maybe then I maxband vandy , break the tower or something

I started the turn with 5 cards in the discard, 2 of them were LBs, 0 cards in the deck. Played YT, reshuffled, drew one of the LBs from my now 5 cards deck, 0 in discard. Discarded 2 cards from my hand + the LB I played, now I have 3 cards in my discard. Makes sense?

Probably the other barrow coming… Doubling Barb + Soul Stone might be the play this game. I do still want another Soul Stone and Mythmaking, but I think I play for Dark Pact + Barb right now. Since I’ve seen 3/4 teched cards and assume Barrow is the 4th, it’ll probably be CB + Garth + max Arg next turn? Or will he not max Arg b/c of DeGrey threat? Let’s find out! I think Mid rook is safe so we do that, peeking with Vir here doesn’t buy me a ton

Okay we’re in full tech 2 fight, I like my odds though. If there’s double barrow or Barrow + Bloodlust, likely Vandy dies even behind DeGrey + Barb, so I spose I patrol her techn and hope its just one barrow. Wishful thinking perhaps. Teching MP and another DeGrey, hopefully I get like Mythmaking + Boulder on the rs

Just to make sure, the SS Barbarian is 4/6, right? He should have 1 damage on him from the tower.

Also I know it doesn’t matter for this turn, but general rules question: is the armor from SQL gained at the end of the turn or is it just constant? For example, after being polymorphed, does the Squirrel now have 2 armor or 1?

And yeah, this is refreshing indeed ^^

Correct on the SS Barb, and I am 99% sure the armor goes away if you polymorph the barb in SQL. His ability is “granting him” the double armor, once he doesn’t have the ability the normal SQL bonus is all that’s there

Also since you’ll probably be wondering about how Overpower and Morningstar Pass interact, here is a link where I asked about it over the summer. The TL:DR; is you need to have 1g to overpower to it (so it is something you “could attack”), but you do not have to pay that 1g to overpower damage it (as you are not attacking it, just whatever you’re hitting first)

Okay, I think I kill Garth, and Pass is an easy choice. Teching another Pass, and Thunderclap to help get past patrol more. Maybe Colossus would be better? Idk tough to say

Another question, what happens if you polymorph an SSed unit and kill it. Does it not die still?
