I’m not sure what to expect out from him next but I feel like setting up MoLaC should continue to be my most important play here. Even though I’m low on cards I have Arg and Calamandra Tigers next turn if I need them. Teching both Ancients since drawing one or both lets me maximise rune gain from my non-card unit generation.

Hmm, Dreamscape for Ancients, maybe? Alternatively, I could go for Mind Control, or Justice Juggernaut could deal with both Ancients and heroes if they’re not boosted. I’d like to jump up to Gryphons, since Growth II has no air, but I need to fight for the board more first, otherwise MoLaC will let huggie beat me in a base race. Mind Control is potentially more useful than Dreamscape if I’m wiping the board with Judgement Day soon, but they’re both quite slow. So maybe I just go for Elite Training + Insurance Agent to help keep the pressure on and recover my hand size, Training lets Agents survive against Frogs just like the Cadets. I’ll be relying on Onimaru and his soldiers to sparkshot through those tokens before huggie sets up behind too much.

I need to kill at least 3 Frogs this turn to stop MoLaC activating, and I only have 3 attackers, so I have to Arrest something for 3 gold. That means I can’t just maxband Onimaru to get the Soldiers’ sparkshot. If I make a worker, it has to be the Brave Knight, so either I skip a worker to put it down, or I worker it and have 5 gold to level / make Mirrors. I think I just worker it. Bigby can stay out of play, since I really need his spells next turn. Or do I bring him out instead of a Mirror, to leave huggie guessing? Hmm. Maybe I do both instead of levelling Quince to heal him, then I’ve got options if either gets killed.

Thoughts

MoLaC teetering on the verge of activation, Arg and friends to wall me up, Midori to threaten a very scary flyer. Felt I had to be rid of Bigby this turn to prevent Judgement Day, even if I might draw a dead hand without Calamandra, and even if I really wanted to worker this turn.

I’m not sure why I put Bigby out there with two of his spells in the deck, but his getting killed is almost definitely the end for me, GG! Should have gone for Elite Training much, much sooner.
