stampede, boost my units again - ($0)
centaur 1 (6) and wisp (3) trade with omegacron, 1 extra hits your base (12)
remaining centaur kills argo, extra 2 to your base (10)
Yeah, that stampede is brutal - and I’ve eaten 2! And skipping your draw/discard has not really slowed you down much. Honestly, I’m pleased to have managed to get this far. The end is certainly nigh, but I’ve been enjoying myself.
Another lesson is that trashing workers means I’m now required to tech 2 cards each turn. Don’t think it’ll have a big bearing, but TIL.

OK, Tech Lab Growth AND Tech III - I’m humped here.
There’s a (slim) chance I could see one more turn, and things have been getting more and more instructional as turns go by, so here’s another turn - if you’ve got me this turn I’m dying to see how! coughpunintendedcough

My options are narrowing. My thinking is:
If no Stampede in hand then my base is safe for the turn.
If Stampede then I must block at least 6 for my base to survive.
If Stampede + (any other buff) then I’m humped. Which seems the most likely.

Well, that tower’s costing me, but hopefully I can get some value from Battle Suits and use Tech I units to maintain control of the board? We’ll see! Kinda like the idea of a Seer here for a low cost unit, but I’ll try without for now.
that worked out pretty well. good trades for me. next turn i can tech up, continue teh rush to tech 3. probably bring huntress/potentn basilisk this turn, and double horseloards the turn after.
Yeh, I wasn’t really sure about trading, but I didn’t want to leave the Merfolk Prospector or leave too many green units on the board - seemed to cost me last game.

Seems like he’s played the Tower to cover whilst he builds a strong economy. So I’ll need try and hurry up. Hyperions seem good for that. They sure aren’t cheap though.

Well I realised I was kinda counitng on the time runes on Fading Argonaut to play Temporal Research. Hopefully I can catchup with Hyperions in the next couple of turns. Definitely falling behind economically.
Ooh, I imagine it’d be nice for you to nip out Battle Suits - valuable card! Definitely getting whiff of Growth Magic in the air - suspect this game will be a bit shorter.

Yeah, stampede’s coming again here I’d say. Against Dothram and the deathtouch basilisk I just don’t have enough options to stop it. Feel like I threw this game in the first turn really.
So at this point, I feel like I’m just forestalling the inevitable. I think those early trades really left me on the back foot and I’m not seeing a way back into this game. You successfully established a superior economy, and got rid of Battle Suits - well played. Any established etiquette on conceding games I should be aware of? Prefer to play it out, or get on with another game? In any case I’m curious to see if/how you close it out this turn - all the Feral Tech II stuff seems matchwinning at this point, but Gigadon especially so.

Thoughts
Everything I teched was pretty expensive and a lack of cheaper options kinda stung me.
no worries at all. happens all the time. lets just call this one. normally you would just say, “GG, etc…”
so here are some observations I have made playing as Green against Purple
Purple seems to have a direct counter to all of Green’s tricks.
-No MOLAC, Rich Earth, Verdant Tree, or Blooming Elms for green because Purple can just Assimilate them.
-No Heavy tech 2 reliance for Green because Purple can just Rewind or Undo them.
-No heavy board flood as an end game for green because Purple can just Ready Or Not to shut it down.
-No major hero reliance because Purple can just Origin story my maxbanded hero’s.
So as Green, I feel cornered into basically rushing Tech 3 as fast as I can.
A second strategy for Green is just to diversify as much as possible and hope Purple doens’t have all the perfect counters already teched in, etc.
As far as strategy for Purple against green, there are a lot of options. I think all three tech 2 options make sense (Past, Present, Future), you’ll just need to commit your teching strategy to one of them to be consistent and maximize that tech 2’s strengths.
You go ahead and post your turn 1 for a new game, and let’s see what happens!!
