From what I remember, this matchup is kinda tricky. Definitely don’t want to give out free levels to that monster so I’ll start with a strong unit opening.

Thoughts
I should just play normally and tech up buuuuut
Edit: i really need to think more/not post ehen tired. I remembered the existence for forgotten fighter after posting this, which would blow me up completely
Hmm, no tech 1? I can take the kill here. I would assume they teched Oni spells, though who knows. It could be a curveball. Still, taking pressure against blue seems to be the right strat, even if I am giving them a tonne of resources to play with…
Hopefully faster from here! It took me a while to find a line I felt inspired by. I should have made many more normal plays this tournament for better results ofc

He can Now! my Aven or my mirror, and then swing with geiger for up to 3; or Now! a tinkerer or Mox and swing for up to 4. So my Quince is never safe at 3 health. I could midband to make him safe, though I am losing ground. What if I don’t tech and play Jail? Too bad I’ve tech’d already; but then next turn I play Newsman/Musketeer and hopefully don’t draw both tech Is. My SQL quince can’t be killed as he has to summon both units. He probably just gets battle suits up. But I have lost this tourney (because of plays like this), so why stop with the weird plays now?
Skipping tech 1 on blue is not very good I feel, especially with only quince out. I’m not afraid of very much pressure. I don’t even think they can kill geiger… so like, who cares? I’ll rush up tech and just threaten the hammer in two turns.
Law Game. A Tricycloid is coming to zap my Jail, but it will slow him down to my Guardians. Next turn is Scribe card recovery and tech up. The trick is going to be not letting him kill Quince for the level and flicker on the tricycloid. I think this is correct - he can’t get though the Newsman without pinging, and after paying bail he won’t have enough money to ping down Quince.

Jail is a nuisance. I guess I could try to assimilate it but it’s usually not worth it. Admittedly, pushing units through will get annoying, but TD gets around it. Proceed with the plan.

That was only his second reshuffle and I haven’t seen any T1 units, so I may be OK here! What will he have? Stewardess? I guess it depends on how far ahead he put T2s.

Law is annoying. I’ll pick up assimilate now and probably an undo for justice juggernauts. Or a rewind maybe, or prynn maxband. Forcing out Hyperion here is pretty strong, though the draw wasn’t fantastic. Would’ve preferred TD or Neo. I can still get a strong foothold, though a juggernaut next turn could spell trouble for me.
unfortunately, I don’t think I can play JJ here. If I don’t Injunction that hyperion, I am toast. He is going to TD it for a new one anyway, but that is more survivable. Wincon is T3. Next turn is hopefully double guardian tech up (with scav gold).
Injunction, hmm. Shame I have the perfect answer. I do feel bad for blue players. I don’t think I see a way out for them, but I’ve come back from worse situations in the past, so it’s not completely over. Just continue to apply pressure and dominate the skies.
Would there be a path out? I have no way of dealing with the void star in this turn, and not even a stall in my deck other than Injunction. I could later kill it with Truth spell combos maybe. Or play Judgement Day, or something. But it’s all too slow whikst youvwill continue to put threats down. GG!
