It was very tempting to go for drakk+pillage+bogre, but unfortunately I think this start is strictly better and with already a loss I don’t want to risk anything.

I can’t be bothered going back through all of zango’s previous games to find out what they prefer, but at least last game this tournament they tried to do illusions. That sounds about right from what I recall of them talking about the deck, so I’ll pick up a couple of nows in my next tech. For now, pretty standard tech 1 stuff.

I have quite some experience with this deck against Moby, but don’t recall struggling as much as I do now as P2… Now when I’m calculating things through I don’t get to the point where I can see that my strategy is actually working… I’m confused!
But also life is pretty busy right now, so I don’t have the time to properly calculate everything through and I’ll just try something out. It’s time for Blood (even though that’s horrible against Immortals, but well…)
At least this time mox is not going to stick around for too long
I mean drawing both is here is fine. I maybe would’ve preferred a split but it’s no big deal. May as well play both and threaten strongly so I can tech up next turn while playing neo plexus.
well, although I didn’t go for hounds this time, Cal’s midband ability played a very big role when I made this deck choice. But tbh: I didn’t have Stewie in mind
CAPS25 round 3 P2T3
P1 [Past]/Present/Future vs. P2 [Blood]/Feral/Truth
Hmm, blood. Well I guess it’s not bad vs present. I’ll need an immortal certainly, to hold down the patrol line. This setup may not keep my tech 2 safe, but I’ll get some nice resources back if they kill it. Hopefully I can just keep them low on cards and gold if they want to keep breaking through.

another straight forward turn. super nice to have that CB split. Unless he has now! AND argo AND battlesuits I don’t see a way for him to kill quince, which then means double CB next turn plus Cal plus MSR… sounds decent!

Hmm, I forgot about the targeting. Definitely should’ve put nullcraft in lookout, unforced error there. Didn’t really need the gold.
Feels bad to worker tricycloid, but I think I’ll need the TD more. Unsure if I can stabilise here, I might just get rolled over.
Hyperion, Tricycloid, Temporal Distortion, Temporal Distortion, Argonaut, Stewardess of the Undone, Fading Argonaut, Now!
Think
Hmm, I think I should’ve returned rambaster instead. Maxband quince is incredibly efficient offence, and I don’t know if I’m going to be able to hold out. I’m very down on cards.
no can do, I had the CB already in hand and drew an additional glider from technician draw, so please say goodbye to your tech buildings even though that’s been quite an impressive turn of yours without tech 2 available…

this should be it. If I really bottom deck both glider and CB, I’m guaranteed to have two mind control
Then let’s stop this: I have another CB in hand and a second time three CBs are enough to break your base…
GG!
This technician dog kill in t3 turned out to be fatal, without two cards from the new cycle I probably wouldn’t have gone for this strategy… And directly hitting the 60% of a CB from the RS 6, draw 2 was a very nice thing. After that… well… maxband quince with blood tech 2 really is a beast!
All the best for the upcoming matches
