If I tech another Meta, I’m 46% to draw it with DP (64% to draw it or the other DP, which with a second DP draw brings me up to 61% total to draw Meta, so pretty good odds really). Let’s go through other situtations to see what else I might want to tech…
If I don’t draw it, but I get StW:
Can StW to kill Nullcraft and then Vandy kills Fargo with no Nullcraft retalliation, lay out 3 skeletons to block, get the tech 1 so Meta doesn’t waste Garth maxband
If I don’t draw it or StW, but I draw deteriorate:
Can deteriorate Fargo to safely kill it with Vandy (3hp vandy won’t die to Drakk mid + nullcraft, especially if I don’t leave Geiger a way to suicide.
If I draw harmony + whatever else I tech this turn:
I have Summon Skele in hand, I can do Garth Skele + Summon Skele + Archery. Or, If I tech Lich’s bargain, I can sub archery / SS for that. So Lich’s Bargain I think is the other tech.
I should probably expect Now! was teched, though… Still, 61% to get to a Meta is worth doing, as I’ll have him on 4 base HP if I do it, close enough for double dark pact death. But wait… If I do take that shot… He will have enough with Drak midband + like Neo Plexus to kill both Garth AND Vandy patrolling… so I can’t worker with it, I’ll have to make a skeleton to protect Vandy…
Ok, here we go with the draw!

So wait a minute, Vandy and Garth are invisible and he has no tower… so I can just guarantee a win next turn if I don’t patrol them? He has 3 + 2 + 1 + 2/3 for Geiger on the board, he can flicker Nullcraft for 1 more, so thats 10, but he only has 8 gold, the most he could possibly bring from hand without Drakk is 8gold for Argo x2 + Now! x2, which would have to be ALL he teched AND he can’t max geiger / flicker nullcraft for that, AND he wouldn’t be building a tower which he HAS to do to not lose… So I just need to not patrol anything but the skeleton and I guarantee a win? I think that’s right! In fact, I think I don’t actually want to Dark Pact him then, so let’s not.
