Aw cmon, the triple card combo that keeps Grave safe? Booo. Well I spose I still trade well with it. Probably losing rook here but that’s fine, since Discord is a strong possibility I will skip Birds this time and do Sharks instead. Hitting back just right could be the thing that upsets the apple cart for Bansa’s weird pressure gambit here (going down to 3 cards feels pretty risky but we shall see).

Just hasn’t been my game for draws, could have really used that other Ancient right now


Got double Earthquake in hand. GG! I was actually debating between other tech choices until you alarmed me about win con. And I was regretting the choice during the following turns thinking sharks will eat me alive. You were right after all although it prolly was the result of lucky vs unlucky draws. T3 birds’ nest saved me big time. Even with that super lucky draw though, things weren’t looking good for me as it was just barely enough to put things even from very bad T1 split. I’m guessing (haven’t looked yet) it was your unlucky draw in a crunch time that really drove things down this way.

I could have used birds on turn 5 instead of the ancient I couldn’t play, and sharks sometime sooner. Definitely the birds draw for your turn 3 was killer though, I thought for sure you would go for discord early and thus went sharks, that was a costly mistake. Getting your earthquake to line up there was also fortunate but you played well.
