Thoughts

Anarchy seems worse for me than glorious ninja, as mox handles him pretty easily. Hidden Ninja might pick off things, but even if he breaks flagstone, I have lots of draw power with vir and garth, but Ill just tech in a second.

Oh snap! Unphase killed Zane, so I couldn’t Chaos Mirror!

I got greedy with that surplus, I could have built a tower to save Zane…

I had a lot of options. I finally got garrison, so I played out my cheap stuff and nullcraft. At 4g left I could either keep playing out probably 2 more units or a unit and hero, but by then I had drawn inphase. So then I was looking at clearing the patrol, or going backline with mox. I could break tech 2 or kill Zane or kill surplus. If you had a tower, I would have cleared your patrol except for scav and played executioner instead of unphase, possibly another unit after. You’d have a skeleton, BC, Zane+ any haste/stealth vs mech, 2 cadets, executioner and hero/unit in patrol. Chaos mirror is a good partial counter to mech, but it doesn’t guarantee the kill on its own.

The biggest misstep I think was not treating tech 1 as the bigger threat. But the second misstep was almost certainly not going for base on the second or 3rd tech break, as that would put you in striking to easily stealth kill my base with hidden ninja.

Right… there was that one turn where you had only 2 cards or something. I could have broken your Tech 1 instead of the Tech 2… even if you had garrison, you wouldn’t have been able to do much with it! And if you did have a Tech 2 unit, it would have traded with your Mox…

That’s good advice! Thank you. I’m happy with how I did given that I didn’t have a clear idea about what your deck is up to. I just knew that if I let you get a garrison it would probably be bad…
