Drawing literally every combat trick in my first hand sucks. Won’t be able to apply much pressure without them. Let’s just hope he’s scared enough of them he plays poorly. Player 2 red is not as scary, thankfully.
So, my calculations were wrong. Oh well. Didn’t draw Wither so I don’t get to kill Zane. Guess I should’ve teched Fencer after all. Hopefully I can build Tech 2 next turn, but if I can’t, tower up and defend up.
Ripping discord from Technician was a sweet save to what otherwise could’ve been a rough turn. I’ve got a strong position now. Unlikely to draw a garrison, but teching up and getting a big board position like this while he only has tech 0s available is very nice.

Still on the front foot here. I can put down one or two garrisons next turn and start flooding the board. Hopefully he’s not able to buff his ancient up too much next turn, so I get a chance to strike back. And if he’s going molac… well, I could be having a bad time. I think he gets at most 3 hasty attacks? So… I need to kill him before then. Or something. I might need a Dreamscape to get past.
Couldn’t muster the damage to kill his Ancient, but cleared everything else. I’m in an ok position at this point, but he could do some nasty stuff next turn. Zane is back too…
