Interesting starting hand. He can’t kill Vandy SQL without Suits + Nullcraft, which would mean no free levels or teching up to do it. Impractical for him.
I need to have a plan for a boosted Mox, so I feel like as much pressure as possible would be a good way to keep Oni from doing that. I didn’t draw Graveyard, though, which is what I would typically want to drop along a hero as P2.
Imp is a solid choice but not enough board pressure.
So I’m going to spend the 2g on Archery for deck thinning as well as possible skeleton swarm (which he doesn’t have a great answer to). Also helps with Nullcraft, so that’s a plus.

My Thoughts
Oversight on my part to not realize I didn’t have any blockers aside from PBR in my next hand… Battle suits will get a kill on Vandy essentially no matter what I do. So I think what I will do is put Rogue out, patrol both Vandy and Rogue in resource slots, plan to tech up. To what I’m teching up, I’m not certain. Mox is a big ol’ bummer for me, I should have played Imp last turn.
I think the plan is going to have to be Skeleton spam and River tricks, so I’m going to bring both Bone Collectors in, with the idea that I protect them with Garth + Skeletons + maybe Graveyard, and then buff them with Two Step. Discord can deal with Peace swarm decently well, then I can tech into Skeleton Lords. But I don’t think Fencers will prove able to trade well with Peace Swarm over the long term, especially without Vandy Dark Pact-ing for them.
Let’s hope he whiffed Battle Suits

EDIT with that extra gold, Graveyard seems a good choice. He won’t be going Assimilate. Do that, float one less, RS draw and looks like I’ll be able to have a better turn 3 all around w/ the graveyard now.
Don’t like the Graveyard (b/c it’s awesome), or don’t like my resolution of the issue?
If the latter, I’m happy to concede not rs re-drawing, or just floating 2 and drawing / not drawing random again. After all, I had resigned to a “bad turn” with the error in it, an extra float on your accord is better than nothing.

My Thoughts
Really regretting not going Imp turn 1 and Fencers for this game… My impulse-control on “always get a hero + a card turn 1” is rotten… There are a few different lines I could pursue, but none of them address the core problem here: I’m lacking haste, and Drakk can pound me into oblivion. I think the best course is to grab a Lich’s Bargain (to generate some board pressure he can’t just immediately wipe out) and Doom Grasp (to deal with Drakk flinging weenies with +1 atk at me). The Frenzy 1 is the real problem here, as combined with battle suits he can trade with any of my blockers quite favorably. Doom Grasp will trade even in the worst case, and neutralize the biggest threat in the next two turns.
I’m certain to lose my graveyard here, but it’s the best I can make of a bad situation. I’m going to patrol Scav and Technician again, to hopefully draw the DG + LB combo and play it with no worker penalty (or just extra skeletons)

Missed the LB… now things look very grim indeed, as I neglected to think about the OC surviving by me patrolling BC in scav instead of techn…
What should be done now? Heroes will give free levels to Oni (or Drakk, if I don’t DG him), BC will get ripped by OC, Skeletons will leave OC’s healthy, nothing really big I can rip from discard with Garth (plus I want Garth alive!)… I’m really quite fucked. What an awful mistake to start this game with Archery…
Really feels hopeless here, like what do I even tech for? Soul Stone my other BC hopefully? Or maybe Dark Pact + Skele Lord? Do I dare try and pivot to Fencers at this point? He’s going to have card advantage with Garrisons now so doesn’t feel there’s any point in trying to bleed his cards…
I guess I’m going to Midband Vandy (5hp matters here) and put BC behind her, tech a Skele Lord and (X), and hope I draw the Doom Grasp again? I’m not quite sure what else to do… I suppose Blademaster would be a decent stopper, but I’m a long ways away from that… I guess I’ll tech the other DG

Well I drew a Doom Grasp and an LB, maybe I can still bring this back…
Your draw step appears to be copy-pasted from last turn, and states you drawing 2 cards out of your deck (which should only have 1) and only drawing 4 cards total.
In your summary you’re stated with the correct cards in hand, so I’m assuming it’s just a typo.
