@Caralad wins 3-1 vs me, flagrantangles!
I figured he’d lead with Troq and I’m garbage vs Troq with Quince (and nearly everyone else) so I figured I’d lead with either Geiger or Onimaru. I decided on Geiger because I’ve played him WAY MORE. I get two good throws in but for the most part, Caralad has me on the ropes. Neither one of us has a large or small hand. Eventually I manage to set up a TD turn and then I call the dodge and I play into his FD because my normal attack will get me lethal. IT’S A JOKER. He’s left with 1 life and I’ve got 2 cards after drawing. He War Stomps me twice and then hits my no card with Beast Unleashed. Alas, if I had kept the normal, he wouldn’t have had the third to make me no card.
I tried this out because it’s not like I can lose my way out of this tournament. 
It works out, but feels not great in the beginning. I don’t manage to get any guard crushes for a good while and then when I do, it’s so EXTRA. Like, crushed a 3 with a 10. Oh well, I manage to take this one off the coinflip at the end.
This went pretty evenly, actually. Near the end I guessed incorrectly and DIED. It also helps that he found two jokers.
I was doing alright in this until I ran out of steam. Quince has a hard time when he doesn’t draw any 2 Truths. I managed to throw out his dodge near the end but it’s with a Queen so I’m definitely signalling I don’t have a throw and I actually didn’t. I draw a 10 and he powers up for an Ace. I thought for sure he would just Ace but instead he bonks me and I die. I could have played CotG but the dodge was too safe from him, in my opinion.
While I lost, I’m proud to say that each of the matches was pretty close and truly came down to the end! GGs, Caralad!
