Triple Threat Mode

2 questions for Triple Threat Mode:

  1. Once a player defeats a players character, does the winner continue with the End of Combat/Power Up/Clean Up phase, activating all abilities that trigger during these phases?

  2. At the beginning of the first round after defeating one of the opponents characters, does the winner skip the draw phase or are they allowed to draw and activate any draw phase abilities? I assume that the loser starting with a new character skips the draw phase (and consequently any draw phase abilities) and draws 7 cards.

I searched the forums here and on BGG for an answer, but came up short. Sorry if I missed this being clarified before!
