I’m trying to leave my options open tech-wise this turn. Next turn, I’ll either tech FD+Mimic or Metamorphosis + spell. I have a turn to choose, because I’m not reshuffling just yet. Either way, these spells should be useful.

Let’s do the math. If I play 2x Garrison and play Inspector, I have 2 gold left. If I deaddraw and get no Cadet, I’ll have only 3 blockers. With a Mimic or a blast spell (Red and/or Shadow Blade), my patrol explodes, Vandy breaks a Garrison, and maybe the second dies to Mimic. So I must play only 1 Garrison, tech Scribes and pray to draw Cadets/Scribes/Hounds… Statistics are with me but still.

Thoughts

The tricky part about this turn was deciding where to send the damage from Ember Sparks and Lobber. This should set me up to kill either both tech buildings or Garrison + a tech building next turn. Hopefully he doesn’t flood the board too much.

I see two only one reason for cstick not dealing all 4 damage to Garrison: some Faerie Dragon shenanigan to have a Lobber flying, then Mimic, so both my tech buildings get blasted. with only 2 cards in deck, if cstick teched that, he’s sure to get both with Vandy tutoring Dark Pact…
-> I think I have a decent chance to draw an Injunction with scribes and all. Sadly I had to skip a worker and that really harmed my eco. It was OK when I was playing 0/1-cost units, but for big spells, that’s another thing.[/details]

I see no way to tech and draw Free Speech, and if I don’t, you just have to hit my base for 15 and drop some Lobbers/red spells/DP to end. No way for me to beat that.
