I’m going to go ahead and resign this one. My attempt to stop your initial rush failed, and while it is theoretically possible that I could deal with what you have in play now, I don’t think there’s any way I can stop you from finishing my base off at this point. I have no means of repairing, and you have an abundance of options for damaging my base, regardless of my attempts to defend. GG.

I’m guessing you paired Peace and Blood for the Pirate-Gang Commander / Flagstone Garrison combo, but why did you choose Strength?

I paired these specs for trying to make desperation work… Rook was purely to have an aggressive early game hero, though in retrospect I wish he was Calamandra or Vandy. I just wanted tons of cheap T1 stuff and desperation.

Let me think a bit and i’ll try another off-the-wall spec.

I think pirate-gang is generally considered bad, and doesnt activate garrison more than once. and usually its bad to go for game plans that require a techlab to be mandatory.

If you meant that the pirate tokens don’t trigger the garrison, then I agree, but that’s not the point of the combo. Playing the commander triggers 1 card draw, but also allows you to play further blood units at no cost. They are still played from hand, so they each also trigger a card draw, potentially allowing you to play every blood unit in your deck and discard pile (under ideal circumstances). I do agree that needing a tech lab is a significant liability, but the idea would be to rely primarily on blood units for most of the game, and slip in a late-game garrison if and when an opportunity presented itself for a strong finisher.
