[FFA] Nekoatl, bansa, FrozenStorm, charnel_mouse, CarpeGuitarrem

I honestly didn’t expect bansa to be able to finish you off! I was just hoping to not die from your counterattack, contingent on bansa having Time Spiral or Ready or Not available.

Also, I realized in hindsight that I could have loaned Glorious Ninja to bansa on a prior turn to actually banish Juggermox for good.

GG WP! That was an interesting game. FFA mode can put you into this funny situation where you can’t win but you can pick who to win :smile: No hard feelings tho. I thought eliminating Frozen was the only way to at least have a slight chance.

I thought about using the last Hammer on Carpe’s base instead, handing over the baton to Frozen to decide. But I just don’t like having too many variables, hence the executive decision. :blush:

GG WP everyone! That was a fun one

Honestly I was banking on the same thing from you, because I figured that as dangerous as I was, you had even less of a chance against Frozen unless you had the specific techs to lock Frozen down.

GG WP all, and kudos to Frozen for his shocking blitz. Anyone up for another game?

I’d play one more, yeah. I’m having a good time.

Lemme think on a deck though

Well, that was explosive. I’m in, not sure about the deck yet.

I’m up for it, FFA has been a pretty fun dimension to add to things. It’s interesting having the double-edged sword of: A, you don’t always have someone constantly applying pressure to you specifically, and B, exploding someone with a swingy play from hand doesn’t win you the game because you either need to lethal or to protect yourself after.

I’ll sign on with Mono-Purple

I feel like this is a terrible idea, but I want to see if I can do anything with [Demonology]/Growth/Strength

I’ll take [Law]/Fire/Growth, because I like terrible ideas too!

Does… does that work?

Yes, surprisingly. Hardened Mox will trash itself at any time, even off-turn, if you have a tech II unit, and the “owner vs. controller” rule means that Mox cares about controlled units, not owned units. The FFA rules explicitly state that the receiving player gains control of the lent units as well, so it seems like an indisputable result.

I will sit out on this one. :smile: @Bryce_The_Rice you can take my spot if you want.

I think I’ll try out Finesse/Strength/Growth, game to wait one more day on a fifth but fine to start with 4 also

Alright, looks like we’re proceeding with 4 players this time. Turn order:

@CarpeGuitarrem
@charnel_mouse
@FrozenStorm
@Nekoatl

Don’t forget to update your NextPlayer field, if using it.

Board state is reset and ready to go.

I propose we award Carpe an achievement if he can collect 6 MoLaCs.

LMAO that’d be a LOT of assimilating

It’s Carpe Mono purple
Charnel Law Fire Growth
me Finesse/Growth/Strength
and Neko Demon/Growth/Strength

Yea?

Unless I messed up somewhere, that’s correct.

Btw, Blackhand Dozer only prevents damage dealt by the controlling player, so I can’t use them to stall the game indefinitely. That may be worth keeping in mind.

Interesting opener. I’m going to have the first shot at bounties, so I should set myself up to grab some. Nullcraft is a very good opener here because it’s immune to Deteriorate and it can easily pick off Mercenary tokens.

@charnel_mouse’s turn!

Thoughts

Well, this is annoying: I really want Building Inspector, and the Aven to deal with Nullcraft, but I don’t want to go down on cards. Both are vulnerable to Deteriorate, though. I’ve also drawn Arrest on turn 1, which is never good. And Magistrate is vulnerable to Sacrifice the Weak. Not so much to Spark / Wither, unlike Aven. Actually, everything’s vulnerable to Sacrifice the Weak, since it effectively earns gold in FFA.

Let’s get Bigby down, so at least something can’t be killed by Neutral / Black spells. Then it’s between Aven and an early Tech I, since I know Building Inspector gets killed for certain by that Nullcraft. I’ll risk the Aven, people can kill it for a profit but it puts them down on cards. Main worry will be Nekoatl, since he can recover with Dark Pact later on.

Magistrate goes to workers, since my goal is to spam cheap units alongside Blooming Ancients.
