Thoughts
4 gold could get me a dead Fargo, but vandy would be vulnerable to nullcraft, so thats pretty much out. I could grab a Tenderfoot to block, but that does run the risk of a forgotten fighter and killing my Vandy. He doesn’t have enough to midband drakk and get nullcraft to kill vandy, so that’s relatively safe for now.

Thoughts
Playing Mox and building Tech 1 is pretty straightforward. Vandy can’t safely kill Fargo in Elite without midbanding, but since I know for sure that I have Nullcraft coming up next turn she actually has to maxband to be safe. Mox is in Lookout to make Wither less appealing. I’m teching Argonaut over Stewardess because I suspect that he isn’t going to present good Stewardess targets, and Bloodlust because it’s good.
Edit: Oh, Shadow Blade would be pretty bad. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.

Heh, have to choose my wither targets again. Arg makes sense because that is 5 possible damage next turn and a really good trade for value. Now do I kill Drakk or tech 2. If I kill Drakk, I have a 1/4 quince and the threat of a Hyperion or Immortal copy. Tricycloid is somewhat more concerning as it makes for a terrible mirror. if he has tric then mirrors are dead, but he still won’t have enough to kill Quince… if he has the others than I’m in a good spot with no spells to help him. and then there is the fact that Mox might vanish if I leave tech 2 up.

he finally built the tower. I guess he didn’t have tric. might as well justify that tower with a metamorphosis. skip worker for shadow blade will be totally worth it. I expect an origin story any second now. but here’s hoping free speech can keep that at bay.

while it is true he should have said he rebuilt it, the fact that it was shown as functional and the 2 hp off the base is also an indication that it was rebuilt.
Right. I haven’t been playing long, and I missed the (rather unintuitive, I think) rule that it doesn’t cost gold to rebuild a tech building. Makes Verdant Tree even better than I thought it was (which is pretty good).
