I think Garg would become ready on my turn. Since he turns back into indestructible, “dies” from Vandy’s maxband, and readies (exhausted units ready in upkeep), and as the Active player, I get to decide the order of the events.

Upkeep

  1. Gain Indestructible,
  2. “dies” and therefore exhaust,
  3. Ready as exhausted units ready in Upkeep - and therefore be ready to go at the start of my Main Phase.

This is my understanding of how events that take place in the same phase work. can you help me clarify if you think otherwise?
