Thoughts
The annoying newsman blocks moment’s peace, which is what I wanted to go for, so I went for Circle of Life instead. Didn’t draw it, so there’s that. The problem with playing against blue that he can copy any of my good tech 1 units - argu, brave knight, Tiny Basilisk etc. with manufactured truth. Which is why I’ve been teching Cadets, which don’t give him any efficiency and I can buff them with Midori. The issue with circle of life is that any tech 2 unit that I get can be copied by Quince, which meas that wandering mimic or faire dragons are dangerous choices. Still to copy tech 2, he’ll need to have Quince on the board and pay for it.

Umm, it’s probably GG, as I can’t see a way for you to deal with oni, and my deck is filled with cycling cards and The Art of War. I would be interested in what your plan for the deck was, as I am confused by the peace tech 2 rather then the Present, as I can’t see what the present is currently offering. The deck seems full of tech 2 power (all three of your specs have a very dangerous tech 2), and stall againt unit (Moment’s peace, Cadets/Brave knights and Argonauts), but no great ways of dealing with heros or getting back on the board.

Present is there for tech 2- getting Hyperions to draw, possibly tech labbed with Garrison sounded like fun. I obviously didn’t really consider how to make this rounded and work against heroes. I thought I could stall to get more units but Brave Knights and Argonauts aren’t the best against blue (can be easily copied), you blocked moment’s peace the whole game and I wasn’t at all expecting the Art of War.
Yeah, The problem I view with this deck is that your three specs overlap too much. And each of your specs is strongest at the tech 2 stage, but you don’t really have a way of getting there. I went heavy on Oni as I couldn’t see a way for you to deal with him easily. As black I would have done the same with Vandy, Green Cal, White Rook. It’s not that you need a spec for dealing with heros as such, but you do need a spec that helps you to recover on the board/ is stronger at the tech 0/1 stage of the game. You have little way of impacting the board apart from what is already on it (no haste, no direct damage etc before T2). It’s the mistake I made with my last deck in CAPS right now, Feral, Present Truth, and you can watch how Frozenstorm did to me, what I just did you to.
I did watch it! Or rather, read it. I just didn’t draw the conclusions for this deck that I thought of originally. And you can see what FrozenStorm is doing to me even when he’s playing a randomized codex. In any case, thanks for the game - I think I want to play some more monocolor because there’s a lesson to be learned there about how different specs integrate.

I’d like to play some mono-color games, if you are into that. I’ve been playing a lot of purple vs. blue, losing repeatedly to Jadiel. I wanted to play some purple vs. any other color to get a feel for the breadth of purple. Are you into that?

I think buzzing the prospector was the right thing. I thought of keeping NC so I’d have an extra point of damage to finish a tree or something next turn but if he keeps digging the benefits will just grow. I was lucky to draw it again so I can potentially summon it again though the tower makes it less efficien
