Grr Nimble Fencer. At least I can break Tech 1. Winning this tech war for now, and if I park Ogre Recruiter in SQL, I can force Grave to rune it. 5g trade for a rune isn’t great, but then it’s gone and Grave is mostly done being useful after that.
God 10 workers and still no tech 2 this isnt looking good for me… maybe next turn but im not hopeful that my measly defense will stop t1 being knocked down again

Drakk hits your base for 1 (down to 15)
At end of turn, Crashbarrow dies, Bugblatter pings your base to 14
Heaven or Hell, let’s rock!! Time to just roll in and crush things, I think! Gonna get Bugblatter down for this turn, and I can withstand a Nimble Fencer. I go down on cards but I’m going into Turn 10. The big question is whether to kill Grave or push for base damage. I can do 3 damage from Bugblatter pings, plus 5 from Crashbarrow overpower, plus 1 from Drakk, plus 3 from Rambaster. That’s 12 damage, leaving base at 6 HP, 5 HP once Bugblatter dies. Huh. I can actually finish out with Scorch and Flame Arrow, but I won’t draw those all until a few turns. so I think I still kill Grave here and don’t play Rambaster. It’s a tough call, but it lets me tighten my deck up.

I get really close to lethal here. Crashbarrow and Mad Man trade with Barbar. 3 pings, down to 8. blatter trades with Grave, 1 ping, to 7. Jaina and Dog hit base for 6. I have 4 outs that require tech 1, one that I can cast with any hero, one that needs Jaina (redundant because Jaina can tap for lethal next turn). Jaina has to die, Rook has to double quake to stop me, and Drakk next turn should seal it

Whew, close one! But I can deal with this! Max Zane (2+5), shove Barbar into Elite, Zane kills River, Crashbarrow kills Barbar and overpowers 2 onto Pass, Doggo breaks pass (1 gold), Mad Man for lethal!
I was prepared even for a crashbarrow but not mad man as well (likely wouldve died turn after even so) really good game! It did go downhill for me a little early on but i thought the defensive Strength plays would let me recover, u kept the pressure up well!
Yeah, this match felt really good, I was shocked at how effective a Bugblatter trickle of damage was! It felt really on the edge until I finally got lethal through!
