Gonna try leading with Dark Pact this time so I can spend starter cards more freely. Debated taking the Graveyard instead of Vandy here, but Jandra’s not enough of a deterrent to an Onimaru trade without Vandy waiting to collect free levels.
Oh wow, what an amazing play. He takes my Jandra out of commission, making her a liability, and he sets up the chance to copy it and hit me with a 3/3 overpower of his own. If he does, he won’t need to worry about retaliation damage, so I should consider Quince as a defender. And Flagbearers for my tech choice.

Okay, I can work with this. Surprising he didn’t kill Orpal when he had the chance. That Tech II finesse is concerning, though, if he drops Maestro and a few fencers, I’m done for… but nothing I can do about that for the moment.
You mean does sacrificing the Mirror require targeting it? I don’t think so… I believe the targeting only happens to the things you put runes on, but I can try to verify that.
