Whew. I didn’t think I’d get away with being so oppressive.
…but I just glanced at your hand, and even with me cycling out your scribe #2 for something else, that’s really rough.
Even if you played max Midori, my next turn would have looked like this:
Tech StartingHand Workers
Tech 2 card(s)
Get Paid - ($7)
River casts Harmony - ($5)
River casts Harmony #2, I get a Dancer - ($3)
Vandy casts Dark Pact: my base to 16, I draw 2, and get two dancers
Vandy casts Dark Pact: my base to 14, I draw 2
Sacrifice Harmony #1, flip Dancers
Tenderfoot suicides into Midori, Two Step stops
Vandy casts Shadow Blade, killing Midori; you discard a random card - ($0)
Vandy, TM, and River break your Tech I; your base takes 2
Discard 5, draw 2, reshuffle, draw 3
- Vandy Anadrose, Lv. 1 (2/2, Sparkshot)
- Timely Messenger (1/1)
- River Montoya, Lv. 1 (2/3)
- Angry Dancer #1 (2/1, Unstoppable)
- Angry Dancer #2 (2/1, Unstoppable)
- Angry Dancer #3 (2/1, Unstoppable)
Base HP: 14
Heroes’ Hall HP: 4
- Hand: 5
- Deck: 8
- Disc: 0
- Gold: 0
- Workers: 7
And the next hand had a Two Step and a Soul Stone to ensure 11 damage to base from Angry Dancers.
Ultimately, I got a great split, and I got lucky drawing Shadow Blade when I did (though it didn’t seem lucky at the time, since I was hoping for Harmony earlier).
I was really afraid you’d have a Bloodlust in hand; Drakk, a Bloodlust, and a unit would be enough to take out River and Vandy, and probably max Drakk, making both of my Harmonies and my Dark Pact useless, and killing my Two Step. I’d be left with two 1/1s, and the ability to play Brick Thief and Bloom with Rook.
Do you want to try another, you going first?
