Well, I can kill both Basilisks but it’s pretty costly. I can StW one away and just play the BC to trade with the other one, that seems like a reasonable choice, especially if I patrol in Techn. The only X-Factor is Zane and the fact he’s got tons of gold to work with next turn, so sharks could be very bad. That doesn’t really feel like a thing he’d tech though? Idk maybe. I suppose a skeleton javelineer in front of BC would largely mitigate that risk, but that leaves me open to Zane maxband pressure… ugh, would have been nice to draw a fencer and just have it kill both Basilisks after resurrection…
Teching up doesn’t really feel like it’d be helpful, nor does suiciding Vandy, though he is 100% going to have the option to kill her if I don’t also patrol a hero + BC.
I could do something like River in Elite and BC in SQL, the BC will trade even and Zane can’t get free levels on a kill that way… It doesn’t exactly do me any great favors either, though, other than potentially setting up for a turn 6 meta. I don’t know that I have a ton of other great win condition options? I played myself into a corner nicely here, should have gone 2x Fencer instead of that Discord, especially with the graveyard likely available.
I think I do want Finesse tech 2 though, as Maestro and Grounded Guide would make for a nasty Fencer Graveyard engine. I think I’ll tech a Maestro and another Fencer.
I think I will do River elite and BC SQL though, as it is the best deterrent on his pressure and keeps Meta threat for me. Now the only decision is whether I StW the one in front, giving him a card in the trade but taking damage on base / tech 1 as my prize, or do I keep him down a card. I think I’d rather keep him down the card, so we’ll go with that. I mean it’s Eric, I’m probably going to lose anyway right?
Bummer didn’t draw Dark Pact, would have been nice, but I guess we’ll see what rolls around from him next turn! I expect Oni + Tech 2 + Tower and trading the Basilisk away probably? Probably Anarchy for a gunship gameplan, maybe Peace?
