Thoughts
wow, i wasn’t quite expecting that.
SOME OF MY OPTIONS
option 1 - base race
gg 6, worker 5, msr 3, bombaster 1, mad man 0, mm->mox, rook->neo (6/2),
most likely looking at gg 6, worker 5, cadet, cadet, battle suits 3, tower 0.
option 2 - break tech 1
same line
response: gg 6, worker 5, fargo 3, unit (NC or tinkerer) 1.
option 3 - standard
gg 6, worker 5, tech one 3, bombaster 1, mad man 0. rook->mox, rook->neo, brogre->tech 1.
response: gg 6, worker 5, cadet, cadet, battle suits 3, tower 0.
SOME OF THEIR OPTIONS
option 1 - cadets
gg 6, worker 5, cadet, cadet, battle suit 3, tower
option 2 - juggermox
gg 6, worker 5, oni 3, bc 2, bc 1
option 3 - LB
gg 6, worker 5, garth 3, LB 1, make sk 0
given the tech patrol, i am guessing that they went for option 1. my best response to that would be to drop a heavy board and break tech 1. this would in turn force something like gg 6, worker 5, fargo 3, tinkerer 1.
assuming if i go double vines, i have 57% chance for 1, 14% chance for two. gg 7, worker 6, vines mox 3, rook/bb->fargo, bro->tinkerer, zane 1, msr/zane->tech one.
those odds seems really slim…probably shouldnt do that. but on the other hand, trading brogre, droping dog to tech, rook to sql (5 in hand, 4 in deck) result on 55% for 1, 27% for 2.
i think i just need to go for it. also, if they drop LB, i have more board to swing with.
