OK, I was surprised by that one. Technician draw is useless, Young Treant gives me a 50/50 chance of drawing the Bird’s Nest. Is there anything better I could do? I could just put maxband Rook down and stall. I’ve got enough gold to do that after playing Young Treant, so I’ll play that first and see if I can bring the Birds back instead. Do I want to tech anything first? The other Crashbarrow and Bloodlust, perhaps? Moment’s Peace might be good if he’s going for Surprise Attacks, especially to quickly get a MoLaC up. Not much need for the other Recruiter if he’s mostly going for Tech II and tokens. Second Bloodlust might not be so good if I’m spending 5 gold on a Recruiter, I’ll go for Moment’s Peace.
… Damn, drew the Bloodlust. I’ll just put maxband Rook down. If I’d known I was doing that, I’d have teched an Earthquake… well, never mind.
