Argagarg's (Ongoing) Bubble Shield prevent KD?

The text on the card reads: "…take no damage, end combat, and discard this."
If the opponent hits with a attack/throw that knocks down, does Argagarg get knocked down still? Or does “ends combat” prevent both the damage and the combat effects (i.e. KD)? Or does “end combat” just mean no combo or pump follow up and no abilities?

This. You still get all the other effects, such as KD.

Okay, thanks MJ. So, looks like that’s consistent with the effects of the “Rewind Time” Joker then. Good to know.
